The Caller Identification feature on your Shaw Direct receiver does not display properly or does not appear on the screen.
Possible Causes and Solutions
- To view caller ID features on your Shaw Direct receiver you must subscribe to caller identification services through your local telephone provider and have an active phone line connected to your Shaw Direct receiver. Check to be sure your phone line is properly connected behind you receiver.
- Make sure that Caller ID is enabled in your receiver's options menu. Hit the OPTIONS button on your remote. Choose 6 - System Setup, 4 - System Settings, 1 - User Settings and then select "Enable" under the Caller ID section on the screen. Choose SAVE on the right hand side of your screen to save your selection.
- You may need to reboot your Shaw Direct receiver. Press and hold the front panel power button on your Shaw Direct receiver for 15 seconds and release. Your receiver will reset.
