You are unable to record using your HDPVR 530.
- Two satellite feeds are required to record using your HDPVR 530. Check the connections on the back of your receiver to ensure both feeds are connected and tight. If you only have one satellite feed connected at the back of your HDPVR 530, you be unable to record.
- If you attempt to record two programs airing at the same time, you may have received an on-screen prompt for you to select which recording to keep. In order to retain the recording of your choice, follow the on-screen prompts closely as not to accidentally delete your favourite programs.
- Restart your receiver by pressing and holding the front panel power button on the front of the HDPVR 530 for 15 seconds and then release. This will reset your receiver and the hard drive inside the unit. Now try to record again and wait a few minutes for the partial recording to appear in your DVR list.
